Dr. Hubert Ng
B.Sc., B.Comm., DMD
Dr. Hubert Ng, D.M.D has been part of Airdrie Springs Dental since 2007.Dr. Hubert was born and raised in Calgary. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Calgary, with honors degrees in both Biological Sciences and Commerce. In 2005, after graduating from the University of Saskatchewan Faculty of Dentistry, Dr. Ng returned to the Calgary area to practice general dentistry. A focal point of Dr. Ng’s professional career has been staying up to date on the latest advancements in dentistry. This enables him to provide the most current treatment options for his patients. He has completed comprehensive training in orthodontics and Invisalign, oral sedation, and sleep apnea medicine. Dr. Ng believes in educating his patients and keeping them involved with their care, every step of the way. He finds it extra rewarding when patients get to their goal of comfort and confidence in their smile, and overall oral health. Dr. Ng also believes that their team’s commitment to customer service starts by building a foundation of trust. This is achieved by treating their patients as individuals. Airdrie Springs Dental always focuses on providing one-on-one attention, factoring in time for plenty of questions and providing all treatment options. Dr. Hubert and the rest of the team understand how uneasy some patients may feel about their dental visits. Hence, they strive to make a difference by providing them a relaxing and positive experience. Their goal is to ensure that every visit exceeds customer expectations on comfort, convenience, thoroughness and promptness. Outside the clinic, Dr. Hubert lives an active lifestyle. He enjoys competitive running, obstacle racing, as well as playing and coaching basketball.
Dr. Ziad Kassas
DMD
Dr. Ziad Kassas graduated from Université de Montréal in 2018 and was born and raised in Montreal. During his studies his interests in oral medicine and surgery brought him to produce a documentary about oral cancer in hopes of increasing public awareness. That documentary has been published on the Oral and Maxillofacial division of McGill University, as well as the website of Université de Montréal.
After falling in love with the mountains, Dr. Ziad moved to Alberta with his wife and 2 year old son at the time in 2021. He is passionate about all aspects of dentistry and is determined to adapt each treatment plan to your individual needs. His patients love his gentle approach and his capacity to put them at ease. In his spare time, he loves exploring nature, hiking and photography.
He cannot wait to meet all the patients new and pre-existing to Airdrie Springs!

Vicki
Dental Hygienist
Vicki is from the East Coast and has been in the dental world for over 22 years as a registered dental hygienist. She prides herself on working with a knowledgeable team & strives to give her patients a great dental hygiene experience that is fun, relaxed and thorough. Vicki loves music and you can definitely expect to hear some chairside singing along with her infectious laugh and possibly even catch her amazing dance moves when you come to the clinic. As an avid outdoors woman, Vicki can often be found hiking in the mountains, jogging around town or walking her beloved puppy. Make sure to ask her about her caricature art next time you see her!
Fun Fact : Vicki LOVES french fries! Like a lot!
Rommel
Dental Hygienist
Rommel joined the Airdrie Springs Family in June 2015 and he is a fan favorite. When not in the dental clinic, Rommel loves to hit the gym, go hiking and try out new restaurants. As a self acclaimed movie buff, his favorite genre is old action flicks. Think, cheesy 80’s & 90’s… one might say, Jean Claude Van Damme is one of Rommel’s hero’s! Rommel believes his purpose is to provide each and every one of his patients a lifetime of optimum dental health through proper education and regular oral care.
Fun Fact : You can always find Rommel rocking the crocs and trading charms with his patients when you come to the clinic.
Dawn
Dental Hygienist
Dawn is our world traveler! She started her dental career in 2003 after graduating with her Registered Dental Assistant level 2 diploma. Taking her skills to the Northwest Territories, she traveled by plane to isolated and under-served communities to help provide dental care. Having developed her taste for adventures, Dawn headed to Ottawa for Dental Hygiene school. She then headed back west again in 2012. Dawn joined the Airdrie Springs Dental family in 2020 and has been a wonderful addition to our hygiene team. When not working, she likes horseback riding, reading and spending time with family, friends & her young daughter.
Fun Fact : Dawn lived in Hong Kong for 3 years; during this time she did as much world traveling & exploring as possible.
Alyssa
Dental Hygienist
Alyssa is a local girl – born and raised in Airdrie. After graduating from the University of Wyoming in 2012, she has been passionate about dental health and overall wellness ever since. She truly enjoys connecting with people, building relationships with her patients, and helping them feel confident, cared for, and at ease during their visits.
As a proud Mom of three daughters, Alyssa keeps life full and busy in the best way. She’s also an animal lover and currently has two dogs and four chickens at home who help keep things lively and fun! Outside of the clinic, Alyssa loves travelling, spending time with family and finding balance between health, adventure and everyday life. Oh and if you ever need any home design tips, Alyssa is your gal!
Fun Fact: Alyssa is obsessed with rhinestones and will bedazzle anything she can get her hands on!
Sharmaine
Dental Hygienist
Sharmaine is a dental hygienist who is passionate about helping patients feel comfortable, confident and proud of their smiles. She enjoys getting to know her patients, building trust and creating a positive, stress-free experience at every visit.
Shar entered the dental field straight out of high school and worked in a variety of roles before pursuing dental hygiene school – something that has always been a true passion for her. Outside of the clinic, you will find Sharmaine spending time with her family and dog. She also enjoys being outdoors, staying active and exploring new places whenever she gets the chance.
Fun Fact: Sharmaine considers finding hidden food gems almost a hobby and is always excited to try something new.
Maileen
Dental Hygienist
Maileen joined our dental family in 2021 as a Dental Hygienist and quickly became a beloved part of our team. Known for her warm personality and gentle nature, she brings a calming presence to every patient she sees. Mai affectionately considers her patients an extension of her own family and really strives to ensure they feel at home in her chair. She is passionate about patient education and takes great pride in helping individuals understand their oral health and how it connects to overall wellness. Mai is our resident Foodie and she loves to spoil her teammates with homemade spring rolls and other delicious Filipino treats, which are always a much anticipated surprise in the clinic!
When not working at the clinic, Mai enjoys shopping (always on the hunt for a good bargain), travelling, going out for a great meal and even a bit of axe throwing for fun and excitement!
Fun Fact: Five Guys cajun fries & a chocolate shake are the way to Mai’s heart!

Monica completed her Dental Assistant practicum with us at Airdrie Springs Dental and loved it so much she officially joined the team in 2018. One of her favorite parts of her job are Smile Makeovers, where she is able to help a patient transform their whole smile from start to finish! Monica believes in continually growing her skills and expanding her knowledge so she recently completed her Orthodontic module. This will allow her to also assist our Ortho families! In her spare time, Monica loves spending time with her family, painting and working out at the gym.
Fun Fact : Monica’s partner is studying to be a tattoo artist; next time you see her ask how many tattoos she has.

As a Registered Dental Assistant, Kas loves helping patients feel comfortable, cared for and at ease throughout their visit. She takes pride in creating a positive experience while keeping appointments running smoothly and on schedule, helping both patients and the clinical team have a seamless day.
Kas has an incurable case of wanderlust and is always dreaming about her next adventure! Her passion for travel has taken her to destinations around the world, where she enjoys experiencing new cultures, exploring local traditions, and discovering amazing food along the way. Whether she’s travelling abroad or staying closer to home, Kas loves spending time outdoors. You can often find her hiking scenic trails, camping under the stars or relaxing at the lake with family & friends. Her adventurous spirit, positive energy and friendly nature make her a wonderful part of our team and patients quickly appreciate her warm and welcoming approach.

Andrea brings a meticulous eye for detail and a warm, welcoming presence to our office. As our Sterilization Assistant, she plays a vital role in patient safety by ensuring all instruments are properly cleaned, sterilized, and prepared for every procedure. With more than 14 years of experience in infection prevention and control, Andrea is dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and safety for both our patients and team. Her calm, caring nature and comforting presence help everyone around her feel right at home in the clinic! She takes great pride in supporting the flow of the day behind the scenes and making sure everything is ready for seamless patient care.
When at home, Andrea enjoys baking, travelling, and spending quality time with her family. Whether she is in the kitchen or on an adventure, she brings the same warmth and care to everything she does. Be sure to ask Andrea about her hilarious story of the time she ‘Survived’ the famous Road to Hana in Maui!
Fun Fact: Andrea has a not so secret shoe obsession, with a total of 72 pairs!

Jodi believes that building strong relationships with patients is the foundation of a great dental experience. Getting to know patients, helping them feel comfortable and ensuring they feel confident in their care is at the heart of everything she does. She also values clear, upfront communication as an essential part of creating trust and ease for both patients and the team.
With over 20 years of combined experience in the dental, healthcare and the airline industry, Jodi brings a diverse background in patient care, service and team leadership. She takes great pride in the talented & caring team that is Airdrie Springs Dental and the welcoming, family-focused environment they strive to provide every day. The sound of laughter & friendly conversation throughout the clinic is something Jodi truly values and considers one of the best parts of the workplace.
Fun Fact: Once upon a time, Jodi worked as a make-up artist providing makeup services for bridal parties.
Gizelle
Dental Administrator
Gizelle has been a valued member of our team since 2009, making her our longest standing team member and a true staple in our work family! Her dedication to creating a smooth, positive experience for every patient has been an important part of our clinic’s culture and success.
Outside of the clinic, Gizelle enjoys spending time with her family and making last memories together. Whether they’re cheering on their favorite teams at local sporting events or travelling to catch games in new places, she loves staying active and making the most of her time with the people she cares about most.
Fun Fact: Gizelle has her sailing certificate and dreams one day exploring the open ocean or maybe just hanging out on an island somewhere enjoying the sunshine.
Natasha

With a quick wit and a love of laughter, Natasha can be found at the administration desk sharing a laugh or story while helping sort out those tricky insurance questions. One of her favorite things is when patients come in and share a new joke or riddle with her. With the advances in dental care and amazing options for a great smile it is an exciting time to be part of a great dental team. In her own time, Natasha enjoys spending time with her family & friends whether that is at a local pub or taking in a concert or opera. She is also an avid crafter and is always taking workshops to make a new creation.
Fun Fact : Natasha has always wanted to join the circus and go on the flying trapeze or walk the high-wire!
Tasha
Dental Admin
From the moment you walk through our door Tasha can be found at the front desk with a smile on her face welcoming you to the office. She has been a team member at Airdrie Springs Dental since 2019. Her greatest joy is seeing our patients smile after the treatment they have received from our amazing team! Tasha is our resident artist and loves to leave inspirational note’s/drawings for her fellow team-mates. Outside of work, Tasha loves going on adventures with her hubby, 2 kiddos & 2 dogs.
Fun Fact : Tasha can do 13 somersaults in under 60 seconds!
Sim
Dental Admin (Remote)
As a Remote Administrator, Sim has been part of our team since 2023, supporting the clinic from behind the scenes by answering calls, booking appointments and helping everything run smoothly day to day. With experience in the dental field since 2014, Sim brings a strong understanding of patient care and what it takes to keep things organized and on track. Sim is always focused on making sure patients feel heard, supported and well taken care of when they reach out to the office. If you call in, there is a very good chance you’ll be greeted by her warm and cheerful voice.
Outside of the clinic, Sim enjoys spending time in her greenhouse getting her hands in the dirt, and relaxing with family – including her Goldendoodle, Lucy. Whether she is growing something new or enjoying time at home, she brings the same calm, caring energy to her personal life that she does to the clinic.
FUN FACT: Sim has dual citizenship and speaks two languages, Afrikaans and English. She was born and raised in South Africa until she was 11 year old.
