How Invisalign Works
Your treatment starts with a consultation and series of impressions. Invisalign software uses models of your teeth to create a computer-generated plan that straightens your teeth in a series of intermittent and precise movements. From this, your series of customized aligners are made.
You’ll bring home a few sets of aligners at a time, wearing each set for about two weeks. Take care to remove your Invisalign braces during meals and home care, but don’t take them out for more than three or four hours a day at most.
Change your Invisalign aligners out as designed, and you’ll start to see your smile straighten right before your eyes. Plus, you only need to stop by Airdrie Springs Dental every six to eight weeks for a quick follow up and to pick up your new trays.
A Compliment to Your Smile’s Health and Beauty
Straighter teeth are generally healthier, with fewer symptoms of gum disease and cavities. That’s because they’re easier to care for. With Invisalign, you won’t need extra tools or appointments to keep your teeth clean — just brush and floss as normal!
Feeling good about the way your teeth look can help some people feel more confident in their personal and professional life. What can Invisalign do for you? Contact Airdrie Springs Dental today to request a consultation for you or your teen.
